Week
Children are back to school and as usual we get our Indian summer. The white trousers and
Sandals are being worn and the cover is off the barbecue again. My son returned home safely from electric picnic so pale tired and hungry but he enjoyed it so much.
We had a great week in Dunmore East the sun shone but the evenings are certainly much cooler and a jacket is certainly needed.
There were 2 triathlons taking place so lots of very fit people around the village. It was such a gorgeous location to start a race. I only went for a short walk and the winner was at the finish line they are such super fit athletes.
There was also a sailing competition which was so lovely to watch.
A busy week ahead trying to get into a routine but this will probably not happen properly until my two are back at college.
Have a lovely week.

Week
Well the excited traveling son has left on his travels to Greece. I cannot believe how quiet the house is how much food is still in the fridge and how tidy the place is. Although I will breath a sigh of relief when he returns safely there are some benefits.
I enjoyed the food fair at the weekend and bought some lovely sour dough bread, French soaps and lots of plants for the garden.
The weather is so muggy and yet the sky so grey it is difficult to know what to wear.
I have a busy week as I am heading on my holidays at the weekend so I am busy packing and catching up with friends and family before I head off as usual I am trying to fit in everything in a couple of days. I also need to leave a full fridge and pantry .
I have bought a couple of things in the sales but not too much this year. Have you bought anything?
Have a fun week

Week
We are hoping for a little sun here this week. Busy helping my son get ready for his first sun holiday with his friends to Greece (I did not allow him go on a leaving cert holiday which is very popular here in Ireland). I am trying to emphasise the importance of sunscreen I am hoping it is not falling on deaf ears.
We had a great time at our party which was a lovely family event. They are a very musical family and former irish dancing champions so music and fun were the order of the evening.
I am still sick believe it or not so I am getting up today with a positive attitude because I am fed up feeling ill.
I am counting down to my summer holidays I leave for the south in 2 weeks. It is not just the packing for 6 weeks but it is also organising the house and family before I leave so there is a lot of lists involved.
Looking forward to the Lyons rugby matches. I hope the Irish players play well.
If you are in Dunmore East this weekend the food festival is on . I highly recommend this event which has lots of events including a food fare.
Hope you have a fun week
.
Apologies for this photo but my son took it and said I had 2 seconds for him to take photo hence I look pregnant.
Despite not eating for 1 week I have come to the conclusion that if I never eat I will be my ideal weight.
Imagine Elle mac Phearson is the same age as me I think she looks stunning in these photos. I always love how healthy she looks. I can dream.
I took this picture of lovely flowers at a cottage in Dunmore.

Thank you for your lovely kind thoughts. I am still in bed sick it is a long time since I spent 5 consecutive days in bed. Like all mums you keep thinking the house will fall down or they will die of hunger but of course they survive.
I came across this little saying and thought it was appropriate .
I hope to get back to proper blogging soon. Have a fun filled week lovely friends.

Week
I hope you had a lovely Easter.
We had a very relaxed weekend and yes like everyone else I ate too much chocolate. It was the coldest Easter Sunday on record and it felt like it.
I booked my summer holiday yippee. We are off to Portugal in May. So I have a spring in my step because as you know I love heat and summer clothes.
I cannot wait to feel heat on my bones.
Wear bright clothes.
Wear shorts.
Have a swim.
Wear a swimsuit.
Go for walks in the sun.
Of course the pre holiday detox and keep fit campaign starts today as it is only a couple of weeks to go

Week
Well it is the start to a new week and the sky is bright and I have a spring in my step hoping we are finally leaving the awful winter weather behind us.
Lots of people were out in their gardens pruning their plants back in hope of the summer. All the little buds are out.
I had a lazy weekend with some gardening, rugby, body balance in the gym and lots of eating.
My daughter was in Paris from college last week and brought me back some lovely macaroons.
I had them with my lovely morning coffee.
I hope to a good spring clean of my wardrobe this week and look at my summer clothes to see what I need for the coming season.
I love tulips this time of year

Cleaning v Computer
Well firstly well done Ireland on winning the rugby it was a very exciting match.
I went out to town on Saturday night it was a surprise and went to Jaipur on George's street I would highly recommend it. It is a very stylish Indian with superb service and excellent food.
As a result of my late night I was a little tiered and only did a little spring cleaning of the guest room. I spent a little too much time on my iPad so I think this quote is very apt.
They are forecasting snow this week I really hope we escape.
Have a lovely week.

WEEK
Well it is another new week after a very lazy weekend. This was as much due to the weather as many sports events were cancelled due to the stormy wet weather.
I had a lazy Sunday morning with breakfast in bed.
I bought some flowers to cheer me up. I also lit my lovely molton brown candle.
Made a lovely rasberry tart that did not last long.
Enjoyed a glass of wine while watching tv from the couch. Plus lots of blogging and reading.
But I really feel the need to reenergise. I am so looking forward to spring the budding flowers, brighter mornings and lighter clothes. Have a lovely week.
