Weekend

It was a bank holiday weekend last weekend so we had Monday off so a shorter working week for everyone here.

I went down to Dunmore East last weekend to open up the house. It was a weekend of dusting and cleaning but I did manage to get some long walks in.

You can forget how beautiful this place is but do not be fooled by the sun in the photos it was absolutely freezing and temperatures are suppose to drop even more this weekend. Oh how I long for sunshine.

So here is a little beachside post from somone longing for a summer at the beach.

I made this peri peri prawns from the frugality blog.


Oh how I long for this.



I bought these shorts from j crew unfortunately the shirt was sold out.

    Lovely having a beach to yourself. My friends have a little holiday cottage in Scotland & there is only ever us on the beach, yes, we swim, last time in September, cold but so refreshing & a massive towel & flask of tea waiting! Xx

    Lovely post Inge and those prawns are delicious! Hope the sunny days appear soon:) Enjoy the weekend.We have two puppies here now as my son bought one for his girlfriends 21 on Tuesday and guess who has to mind it till then!! I can't think straight lol!

    Such nice pics! I wish we had a beautiful beach close by. The nearest is in Mississippi. Really cute shorts! You would think with Jcrew prices the shirt would still be around. HAHAHA I love prawns!

    Your beach photos are beautiful. I'm lucky to have just spent last week enjoying some warm sunshine and it was so cold when we returned! Hopefully the temperature will soon rise.
