Weekend

Well it was great to have a long weekend but oh it was so cold and damp. It was a long journey down due to road works so it was very late by the time we were down. Even Rocky was fed up if he could talk I think I would have heard him say 'are we there yet?'

I lived in wooly sweaters and scarves. My touch of glam was my new berry nail varnish which I really like.

I did cut some flowers and put them in a vase with shells to cheer myself up.

Weekend

It is a bank holiday this weekend in Ireland so it means we have a extra long weekend.

We are going down south for the weekend so it's filling the fridge here for my children to survive the weekend. Then packing for myself for the weekend. Difficult to know what to bring it is suppose to rain and get colder. I hope to go for long walks, breakfast in bed, dine out, play tennis and clear the garden.

I hope to wear my new berry trousers and top but cannot decide between boots or high shoes. As I walk everywhere it may be the boots.

Fashion

A little bit of sparkle for today to cheer you up.

So much glitter in fashion at the moment on everything from jackets, jumpers, shoes, bags etc.

I think I need some glitter in my life.

Holiday

I finally managed to download some pictures from my phone from my summer holidays in Dunmore East.

I will post some pictures over the next couple of weeks. I had forgotten what a beautiful place it is.

I just loved the colours of the heather on the coastal walk. They are quite autumn colours even though they were taken in summer.

They cover the ground like a carpet.

Weekend

It has been such a wet and dreary week here so i am hoping for some dry weather so I can go for long walks.

Nothing planned for the weekend sometimes it is nice to just chill and unwind.

I will be certainly picking up the blanket of leaves that are in the front garden.

Breakfast in bed with newspapers and my iPad on Saturday.

A little yoga today to help me unwind for the weekend.

Fashion

I love scarves I wear them both summer and winter.

This week I took out my woollen scarves and put away my summer light weight scarves. I never go out in the winter without a scarf.

It is a lovely crisp morning here and I have just come back from walking the dog and I have a spring in my step.
