WEEKEND

Well the sun is shining through my curtains yippee. The first picture is from last weekend.

So I think it calls for white trousers. There is nothing that looks fresher than a pair of white trousers, t shirt, blouse or even a navy blazer.

It is a weekend of jobs around the house getting a new carpet in the hall, tidying the garden and getting a leak in the ensuite fixed. Not a very glamorous weekend.


College exams start next week so it's lots of studying in this house and keeping the fridge full. I do not know about you but at exam time they eat so much all day long. (This is not a picture of my fridge just slightly too healthy)

I am on countdown to my holidays only 2 weeks believe it or not I have started packing I know sad life I think it has more to do with our awful winter weather and it cheers me up to see the colourful clothes in my suitcase.

Weekend

Well at last I am finally feeling better and looking forward to the weekend.

We are going to Dunmore East for the weekend to open up our holiday home so hoping for a sunny weekend.

I hope to do lots of walking and maybe even a little tennis.

I am sure there will be lots of weeding of the garden and tidying up to be done.

But I hope to do some reading, dining out and maybe have a glass of wine?

Fashion

It is finally the weekend. I am believe it or not still sick in bed but finally feel I am improving.

I have spent a lot of time looking at blogs from all over the world. I love to look at the different culture, foods, lifestyles and climates. The temperature has definitely improved and my thoughts are turning to summer fashion.

For some reason I noticed I had lots of pictures of lace although I do not have any in my closet.
Here are a few of my favourites. I just think lace is so feminine and delicate. It adds prettiness to an outfit. There are a variety of ways to wear lace here.

Week

Thank you for your lovely kind thoughts. I am still in bed sick it is a long time since I spent 5 consecutive days in bed. Like all mums you keep thinking the house will fall down or they will die of hunger but of course they survive.

I came across this little saying and thought it was appropriate .

I hope you had a lovely Easter.

We had a very relaxed weekend and yes like everyone else I ate too much chocolate. It was the coldest Easter Sunday on record and it felt like it.

I booked my summer holiday yippee. We are off to Portugal in May. So I have a spring in my step because as you know I love heat and summer clothes.

I cannot wait to feel heat on my bones.

Wear bright clothes.

Wear shorts.

Have a swim.

Wear a swimsuit.

Go for walks in the sun.

Of course the pre holiday detox and keep fit campaign starts today as it is only a couple of weeks to go
