AVOCA
Avoca shop can best be described as a cross between anthropologie , toast and designers guild. It is a family run Irish business that is surviving the current recession.

It just cheers me up to go into this store the colours, clothes, cosmetics and books are just mesmerising. I just want to buy so much. The food is the best part of the experience it's just top quality.

The recipe books are really worth buying.

This is one of my favourite places to visit and I could not recommend a vist more highly if you are visiting Ireland

The weather here is so gorgeous and sunny at the moment unseasonably so as it is still spring. We have to make the most of it as this week may be our summer.

I came across it one boring Saturday and it was like reading a novel (a fun one). She and her family have been brave enough to move from Chicago to Hawaii and are now living a simpler sunny life.I would have loved to have been brave or crazy enough to have done something similar.

It's nearly time for saint Patrick's day. I am busy packing to go away for the weekend. I will be close to the beach but unfortunately it's mean't to rain. I thought I get you in the mood by posting a reluctant rocky wearing his Irish gear. Happy green day. Feather boas are in according to vogue.

Customer Service

sometimes companies do care. I was overcharged by over 1000 euro by an energy provider. Customer service who dealt with my initial complaint were both inefficient and uncaring. I then contacted the MD who sorted everything out.

The next day these flowers were delivered which cheered me up.
