Easter

A happy Easter to all my blogging friends.

I was due to go away for the weekend but because snow is forecast we have decided to stay home. It will be a weekend of relaxing, yoga, rugby and eating chocolate. I love to eat my Easter egg with a cup of tea. How do you like to eat yours?

I hope to wear a dress on Easter Sunday I bought an Allegra hicks dress but I think I will be wearing it with tights.

Spring does feel like it is arriving the daffodils are out and there are lots of baby lambs.

I hope you have a lovely Easter with lots of chocolate and fun.

Fashion

It is so terribly cold here the weather is coming from Siberia and wow it feels like it is.

I succumbed and bought a jumper in Avoca last week I was just fed up wearing the same clothes.
I love the little heart details.

It is so difficult to look both fashionable and very warm in these freezing temperatures here are a few outfits I like.

Even Rocky is wearing a coat.

Holiday

My husband has been off work this week and although we decided not to go away due to the awful weather we went on day trips instead.

My favourite was our visit to Powerscourt in Enniskerry County Wicklow. It is just so beautiful.

We had lunch in Avoca did some shopping in both the house and the garden centre which had the healthiest plants I have seen in ages.

We finished off the day with a drink in the Ritz Carlton.

I know some bloggers have been slightly disappointed when they have visited Dublin recently I could not recommend this area more .

Fashion

I am longing to wear summer clothes and shed the layers of jumpers scarves and gloves that I seem to be wearing on a daily basis.

I love stripes and have even worn them in winter with my navy cords.

Flowers

I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day. I was spoilt and received lovely flowers and a lovely gift.

I have also been adding a few Easter bits and pieces to brighten up the house.

Bling

Bearing in mind that the wet cold weather has returned I thought I would do a 'bling' interiors feature to cheer us up and add a little brightness.
