FOOD
We enjoyed a gorgeous lunch in one of my favourite places El Golfo. We ate outside beside the sea eating prawns and freshly caught fish.

It is a stunning landscape with the waves crashing against the rocks. We spent almost 5 hours having lunch (a record) and had great fun being part of a local family christening.

Sun Tan Lotion

This post is for my children who are currently sunning themselves in my back garden.

As you know your father tans himself like a chicken on a rotisserie although he does use sunscreen he has sallow skin and does not look like the lady pictured below.

I have fair skin and am careful in the sun I am a factor 50 girl. I am a fan of piz bun. However before I came out I bought boots soltan 50 for kids (very reasonable) best sun product I have ever used and it is not like so many factor 50 so thick it is hard to apply no this is a milky consistency.

So please kids buy this sun cream and I will reimburse you on my return.

Lunch
Maybe it is because of our weather inIreland (but i do understand i sent some sun your way) but my favourite time to eat is at lunchtime sitting outside with a glass of rose with no time constraints and just lots of chat and fun.

Holiday couples

You know we all do it on holidays spend our time looking at people deciding in our mind who they are or what the do. I am not going to comment on the is that is daughter or his wife couple but rather 2 couples who stand out because they love each other so much.

The honeymooners
Of course I'm not sure they are on honeymoon but they act in that adoring way. He does everything for her fixes her sunbed, lovingly puts on sun cream puts oil on her hair. While she drinks her cava at lunch he sits there so happy. They are fit and such a good looking happy couple. This is young love.

Older couple
This couple are in their eighties and the poor husband is frail and has a bad stoop. But they have such fun and are so happy and polite. It was funny they were walking on front of us to lunch and she pulled his shorts up at the back and my husband laughed to me nagging never stops. But they are so kind and loving to each other. I just love looking at them.

When you can laze around doing nothing people watching is fun.

Swimwear

Okay i need to have a little rant and I know this may not be politically correct but why oh why do the fattest, most well endowed, least attractive people go topless.

I did in my late teens go topless in Greece like most Europeans and then I got sense.

This ladies as Joan Rivers would say has breasts that are down to her knees and she has not seen size 8 to 20 on any clothes labels in a long time. Couple this with the fact her elastic is gone in her bekini bottoms you get the picture. If you can afford to stay in a five star resort you can afford a new swimsuit. Everyone is looking at her.

The problem is she sat on the bed beside me I am not so rude as to move but all I see are these enormous breasts. It's put me off my lunch and glass of rose (well maybe not the wine).

The chicest lady at the pool is a lady in her eighties wearing a black swimsuit lovely kaftan and straw hat. You can look good covered up.
